Media Links, manufacturer and pioneer in Media over IP transport technology, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, announces today that KDDI Corporation has adopted our IP gateway Xscend® for its video transmission service. KDDI plans to migrate from the conventional WDM transmission method using our product MD-003 to an IP transmission method in its video transmission service network.
Xscend® has been selected for this migration because of its flexibility to support the latest video compression methods and various IP formats. In addition to Xscend®, we also provide MDX48X6C aggregation switches and ProMD EMS equipment management software to fully support the construction of the network system.
Media Links will continue to provide state-of-the-art video transmission networks.
