Operating in a remote production environment, hundreds of impeccable quality, low-latency JPEG-XS compressed video feeds were aggregated in the IBC (International Broadcasting Center) from the various Olympic athletic event sites and sent across the Atlantic to NBC’s Sports’ Campus in Stamford, Connecticut where a combined average audience of 30.6 million viewers per day watched the Games.
