Kawasaki, Japan – October 18, 2024: Media Links, a pioneer in IP-based media transport solutions, will exhibit at the InterBEE 2024 International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition at the Makuhari Messe in Japan from November 13 -15, 2024, Hall 5, Booth 5609.
Media Links will introduce several network solutions centered around its Xscend® next-generation IP gateway, as well as updated STL/TTL solutions based on IP/PTP, which the company has focused on in recent years.
In addition, Media Links will participate in the IP Pavilion, which aims to promote IP in the broadcasting business, at the special event hall 3. The theme of this year’s event is: Proposing the possibility of production content distribution through collaboration that transcends the boundaries between companies. The company will support content transmission based on two standards; ST 2022 and ST 2110, using Xscend® media over IP content transport technology.

Network solutions using Xscend® IP gateway
Supporting the shift to IP and cloud-based workflows, Media Links will showcase several network solutions including IP transmission applications between TV broadcasting network affiliates using the Company’s next-generation IP gateway Xscend®.
STL/TTL over IP solution using MDP3020 SFN
This solution enables transmission of DVB-ASI signals and PTP-based time information from broadcasters to transmission stations over a PTP-enabled network. Media Links will introduce an IP-based STL (SFN) workflow that showcases IP-based time synchronization between broadcasting stations and transmitting stations.
Compact IP Media Gateway – MDP3020
The MDP3020 is a compact and cost-effective IP media gateway that combines the transmission technology developed for the MD8000 into a 1RU half chassis. Media Links will introduce product specifications suitable for various transmission needs, such as JPEG-XS/JPEG2000 compressed transmission and 4K transmission, as well as uncompressed video, and data transmission.
ProMD EMS (Network Management System)
With a GUI optimized for media transmission, this system allows operators to easily access network status and delivery route conditions. The system also allows operators to easily define various devices and configure delivery routes according to the content services they provide.
