The NEW Xscend 1RU edition targets the specific market sweet spot for 4 to 32 media services. As part of the Media Links ecosystem, it’s positioned between the larger, service-capable 2RU Xscend offering and the compact, small channel count MDP3020. Alongside its award nominated 2RU Xscend big brother, the 1RU Xscend edition transports the widest and densest variety of contribution-quality media across both managed and unmanaged (open internet) networks. Each install benefits from Xscend’s signature agile architecture, with enhanced performance matched to an all-new hybrid hardware/software design that’s future-proofed to easily accommodate evolving and emerging technologies over time (e.g. greater video resolutions, advanced codecs, new streaming protocols). |

Alongside its award nominated 2RU Xscend big brother, the 1RU Xscend edition transports the widest and densest variety of contribution-quality media across both managed and unmanaged (open internet) networks. It offers the same functionality as the larger 2RU edition, but with the more compact workflow footprint and signal count required by smaller or more space-hungry installs. All devices in the Xscend Family share the same unified library of software and line card upgrades, meaning service customization, deployment, and control of inventory is more easily achieved.
