Xscend® codec support and new ML Director management software among the highlights at Booth 5402
Kawasaki, Japan – November 6, 2026: Media Links, a leading developer and manufacturer of IP media transport solutions, will showcase its latest IP broadcast and transport technologies at InterBEE 2026, taking place November 18-20, 2026, at Makuhari Messe in Japan. The company will exhibit in the Video Production/Broadcasting Equipment Section, Hall 5, Booth 5402.
The lineup will focus on the Xscend® IP gateway platform, including new support for HEVC and AVC codecs to deliver high-quality, low-latency video over bandwidth-constrained networks.
Media Links will also introduce ML Director, a new addition to its operations management software lineup. With a focused set of essential device management tools and a straightforward web interface, ML Director offers a cost-effective way to monitor and configure equipment, reducing the day-to-day workload for technical teams.
Media Links’ InterBEE Exhibition Highlights:
Xscend® IP Gateway and Network Solutions
As broadcasters move toward IP and cloud-based infrastructure, Xscend supports a range of network applications, from links between affiliate stations to cloud integration. Available in 1RU and 2RU chassis, its software-based architecture allows systems to be configured around each installation’s requirements. Media Links will introduce HEVC and AVC codec support and share its roadmap for future enhancements.
STL/TTL over IP Solutions Using MDP3020 SFN
The MDP3020 SFN solution carries broadcast transport streams and PTP synchronization information over IP, supporting single-frequency network (SFN) operation without a GPS antenna at the receiving site. The solution combines precise synchronization with redundant transmission paths to support reliable broadcasting. Compatibility with existing equipment and flexible deployment options help reduce installation and operating costs.
MDP3020 Compact IP Codec
Housed in a compact, half-width 1RU chassis, the MDP3020 supports uncompressed video, multiple compression formats and 4K transmission. Media Links will demonstrate its capabilities and discuss applications across a range of broadcast environments.
ProMD EMS Network Management System
ProMD EMS provides a graphical interface designed for media transport networks, giving operators a clear view of network status and transmission paths. Booth demonstrations will show how operators can configure devices and establish transmission paths to meet specific service requirements.
ML Director Entry-Level Operations Management Software
Designed for Media Links’ Xscend, MDP and MDX product families, ML Director provides affordable device management through a web browser. It organizes devices by project and supports simultaneous monitoring of 10 to 20 units, along with batch configuration. Media Links will demonstrate its intuitive interface and straightforward setup.
