Kawasaki, Japan – May 28, 2025: Media Links, a manufacturer and pioneer in Media over IP transport technology, will exhibit at Interop Tokyo 2025 from June 11 (Wed) to 13 (Fri), 2025, in booth 7W08 (Interop Pavilion) at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Japan. At the exhibition, the company will introduce STL over IP/PTP network solutions using its next-generation IP gateway Xscend® and MDP3020 SFN. Additionally, Media Links will demonstrate long-distance video transmission using the MDP3020 SFN in cooperation with a broadcasting station at the “ShowNet Media over IP Special Event” to be held during the exhibition.

The ShowNet network, which will be built within the Interop Tokyo venue, will be composed of approximately 2,000 products and services provided by exhibitors and 700 top engineers gathered at Makuhari Messe. It will be a very large, live network connecting the entire Makuhari Messe venue to the Internet, while also conducting various interconnection demonstrations and challenges.
As a subnetwork within the overall ShowNet network, “ShowNet Media-X” will demonstrate the interoperation of 12 broadcasters from across Japan and ShowNet. Presented as a technology exhibition involving Media Links’ broadcast solutions, its purpose is to showcase new possibilities in the broadcast industry by sharing and mutually utilizing each station’s video, audio, and other resources over IP networks.
